Good quality but base needs to be more sticky.
Used in Skoda Fabia Mk2. The three lobes are good for a curved or slightly stepped dashboard. I had to modify mine by sewing some non-slip matting (small rubber balls) under the lobes. It is easy to sew around the outside seam of each lobe. When modified the mount stays in place under normal driving including quite fierce braking. A full-on emergency stop may cause it to slip about one inch forward.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good but useless on plastic dashboards.
If you have a leather or soft vinyl dash it works great. If you have a plastic dash its useless and does not stay put. I have a plastic dash on one of my cars and had to put a dash matting underneath it and then it worked fine.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Does the job ok
It does need some anti slip under it if your dash is smooth which I expected, but it does fold over the speedo pod on my Fiat Ducato and with some double sided tape which holds it place, that saves me having to remove the sat nav each time from the windscreen each time I drawn the windscreen night blinds across.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Brilliant, does not move about at all.
Does exactly what its supposed to do, stays where its put, does not move at all.Placed it on dash board at right of steering wheel.Surface has curves, but did not move one bit, brilliant. Fits in glove compartment complete with sat nav in situ. Sat nav felt very secure in beanbag holder. Have not used anything else under bean bag to secure as does not need it.
