Good for mounting a chuck in the tailstock
This is exactly what I needed for mounting a chuck or backplate in the tailstock. I needed to bore out something irregular which I could hold in a 4 jaw independent chuck and put in the tailstock. You have to remove the end with an allen key to reveal the entire MT2 taper. That’s intended to be put back to clamp it in place if you’re using this on a table. the thread is a great fit, and the register surface is very well done, I did have to alter it for my rotary table, but that was only because I wanted to use the rotary on the side, so didn't want the side load on the MT, so I cut the tang off, and put an M6 thread into the end, and it machined very well.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Need that drum indexing
