disposable fun that keeps it light!

The DVD treatment of this lovable TV show is criminal.
Don't let the one star rating fool you. This is a very funny sometimes emotionally moving TV series. Every moment Cat is on screen is unsurpassed pleasure. Sam street smarts toughness is the perfect counterbalance to Cat's innocent very often humorous sweetness. From the very beginning in the pilot episode when Cat rides her bicycle passing Sam from behind as Cat giggles, I fell in love with the show. I highly recommend the series, but I can't recommend this DVD set. The picture looks awful. It's excessively dark and pixilates very often. Also it doesn't work at all on any of my DVD players. The only thing I could play it on is my Laptop. That's how I know the picture is bad. PLEASE SOMEBODY GIVE US A AUTHORIZED PROFESSIONAL RELEASE.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
