Even better if the screen would be backlit - so that in poor light situations, one could see to choose selected folder, etc. Sound (playback) is somewhat tinny, but for what I use it, adequate. Easy to use and excellent sound. Only downside is that you can't rewind to re-listen to a specific portion. You can pause and continue however which is helpful when transcribing.
