Another Quality Product from APC
I have used APC Surge Protectors for years, and I can vouch for the quality and reliability. This is my first wall-mount model and I am quite pleased. I replaced a unit from another company that got fried when I experienced a short in the cord of my vacuum cleaner. The Belkin was a good unit, but all the outlets were on the face of the unit. When everything was plugged in, I could not place furniture close to the wall. I like the design of this APC much better, as the outlets are located on the sides. In spite of this, the unit has a compact form-factor. There is a similar model available with USB outlets, if you have the need.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Could be better
Disappointing that there are only one set of plugs to engage the wall outlet. I am more familiar with and confident in the side outlet, six tap unit with dual plugs. Sure, the designer figured out how to save a nickel and probably got a promotion for it. This design only protects from the most minor power surges, serious surges are only protected by a UPS which retail in the neighborhood of $100.

Nice to have more spots to plug things into.
It was recommended we get this by our Internet carrier to help us assess if our power outlets were the cause of issues with our connection. For the price and its low profile (good for the very limited space we have where our router is), we bought it.
