Better chips!
This gives a much larger area to cook chips (and other grills). The results are much better than with the provided trays for chips as they can be spaced out more evenly. I found I needed to use the extension ring as well as the air fryer ring which made the unit quite tall and a little unstable. There are air holes in the ring, it would be nice to have some guidance on use rather than just having to experiment. Well made, seems good quality.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Its OK but......
It's a good bit if kit but to use it you really need to use the extender ring to put a bit of distance between the lamp and the food. Unfortunately this means you CANNOT use this with a halogen cooker with a hinged lid. I wish someone else had put that in a bloomin review.......Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Recommended must have
I wasn't sure if it would b any good but it sure is doing popcorn chicken on this is awesome as they come out light and fluffy. Also cooked a pizza on it which tasted great too. My kids didn't like pizza cooked in the halogen oven until now. I will definitely recommend to others. U can also make it halogen oven have more height if u have the that ring. Great value for money
I have only had this item a couple of days but I have used it quite a bit. I am so very pleased with it. It has turned my halogen oven into an air fryer. I can now fry fish and chips with the minimum of oil ( I use the spray ). Does give you nice chips.
I really like the handles, makes it easy to move around . Not really sure when the vents would be open/closed? Fits easily on top of halogen. Quite useful piece of equipment.
Sits a bit too close to the heater element which leads to food being burnt. I use it with an additional expansion ring which produces a better result. Quite a useful addition to my halogen oven. Allows heat circulate around food giving better finished result.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

A great attachment

Not ideal
The grill supplied is too close to the heating element and so one has to place it below the ring on the rim of the glass bowl. It is not steady here and has to be removed with caution or else the contents fall into the bowl below.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Nearly a good idea
It works, but too well. Chips get burnt if your not careful. The problem is the fryer basket is too close to the heater. It needs to go lower into the bowl. I would give 5 stars if there was twice the gap.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Nice extra bar the cleaning
