Bought this for my son's room. He is 3. We also will soon have my stepson staying over so thought this looked ideal. The main bed is not great at all. The mattress doesn't stay in place and is very uncomfy(I TRIED sleeping in it one night!!) The wheels don't lock either so moves around a lot. The base is very flimsy too. Haven't tried out the trundle yet but not expecting much!!

Trundle fitting not as good as expected
The bed itself is very comfy so I feel the value for money is ok. The pull out trundle bed does not fit in as good as I'd hoped, I expected a slicker mechanism and once taken out the main bed underneath looks very unfinished and cheaply made. For this reason I would not buy again, but so far it is working out fine for the purpose we bought it.
