It will fit Gretsch and most humbucking pickup equipped guitars. These use a ceramic magnet rather than an Alnico V, but the sound is still a great Gretsch sound. This is one of their popular humbuckers used on many of their models, and responsible for that "great Gretsch sound".

Excellent Tron bang for the bucks!!!!
I m not a Filtertron expert. So i wanted to try these as a bit of an experiment, and also to have other pick up flavors in my collection. I put them in a solidbody, a la Cabronita. By definition, Trons are “ weak” humbuckers, so you get a thin single coil type response and volume without the annoying hum. Also, these are consistent with original Filtertrons specs I read about...around 4 k each...So far, I m happy with the results. I still have to try them in several amps and contexts before final verdict, but i have a very pleasant and satisfying tone for a very very fair price. Kinda what i wanted, since I did not want to buy boutique Trons at five times the price I paid for these...i might put a 1 meg volume pot in the guitar in order to excite high frequencies a bit more...these are keepers!!!

LOVE THESE!
Incredible grunge sound from these awesome pickups. I've replaced every pickup in my hollow and semi-hollow body guitars with these. Even tried one on a solid body double cutaway jet style. I highly recommend these for anyone wanting a great sounding guitar, clean or "Dirty."
