This is the best thing I have bought in years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have replaced ethernet cables so many times over the years - we all know how easy it is to break off the tiny plastic clip on ethernet cables but this usb ethernet adaptor is fantastic, no more replacing ethernet cables and together with a Cat6 cable instead of Cat5, this adaptor gives you fast and strong connection, it has made my experience of using the internet alot better since I bought it - I really am happy that I have it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

It works!
Works straight out of the box on a Windows 10 laptop. Increasingly, laptops do not come with a native Ethernet port. A wired connection is always better than Wi-Fi so we use this in conjunction with a TP-Link Powerline adapter to get the best possible connection for Zooming. Great little dongle!
This adapter works very well, both in Windows 10 and Linux (Ubuntu). Just plug and play, and it worked fine on an old laptop with a faulty Ethernet card, and at less than half the price of replacing that card! So the laptop is back in daily use again, and the adapter is very easy to carry around so it can be plugged in as needed, when you need the security of cable over the insecurity of wi-fi.
