weak plastic not fit for purpose
I don't believe that the ad stated that the door stop was made of plastic. Unfortunately it was and snapped in half within the first day. Being a kick down action it is supposed to be fairly rugged so plastic is not fit for purpose when most of the other listings were made from metal. I am able to replace the shaft with an aluminium one and by adding two external washers the shaft spindle this will beef up the plastic spring carrier.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
