Portable Garment rail
We received the item and assembled it the same day. It is fairly easy to assemble and tools are provided. Its a great product and would highly recommend it. The item is also great value as similar items cost much more. Having worked in the fashion industry I would not describe this rail as heavy duty, more medium duty. OK, a bit disappointed, not quick to assemble but cheap
Disappointed as it is not the push button type of rail that are really quick to put together. This one is bolted and uses a spanner to tighten the bolts so not very good if you want one that needs to be taken down and re-assembled regularly and quickly. Think it should be mentioned in the description that it is the type that uses a spanner. It is OK though and cheap price. Not as strong and sturdy as the push button type. Slightly substandard
Have been used to clothes rails from shop fitters that I used to get through my work. Had to buy my own. Thought this seemed good value, but would rather have paid a bit more and got something that was easier to put together and something that felt more rigid on construction. Good price and all metal construction. easily takes heavy clothing, much more than the ones with plastic parts. Easy assembly but don't bother trying to use the spanners that come with it unless you don't have any proper ones. Use a rubber mallet to fit the castors in fully. A Good Rail but you need to be very strong to get the roller/feet on properly.
This rail served it's purpose well and I overloaded it during the time that my wardrobes were being fitted. I was surprised when two of the roller/feet came off after I moved it whilst laden with clothes. They were hard to get on firstly but once I had it empty I pushed them on again. Reasonably priced, easy to assemble clothing rail. Quite robust. On assembly I did however use my own spanners to assemble. The ones supplied I felt were a little slim in thickness and easily slipped off the bolts, I used my own. This is the only reason I never gave this product a five star rating !
