Great for refreshing faded black trim materials.
I first bought the 'Back to Black' spray. The spray is clear and just left smeary marks. I had bought it because it had the same name as the cream i used to use. Disappointed, I contacted Simoniz, who sent me a bottle of this 'Jet Black' instead. This is exactly what I wanted, and used to know as 'Back to Black'.
It is a black cream. You rub it well in, fairly liberally, smoothing and wiping as you go. The first coat soon soaks into the surface and dries, so you then add another, and you may, on very powdery faded surfaces, need more. Weirdly it doesnt stain hands too much, fortunately, and the surface doesn't last forever! But it's quite therapeutic and addictive stuff to use. It dries to a satin sheen, not high gloss.
It wipes off surrounding paint easily, but beware, it is black. It is not for other colour trim
