Pricey but worth it!
The Pizza stone on a Lotus Grill works well but ONLY if you have the hood as well. With the hood on, which has a built in thermometer in the knob, one can get the internal temperature quickly up to circa 400 deg which ideal for Cooking Pizza. The bases are nice and crisp and a pizza cooks in about 5 minutes. This leaves you with a portably Pizza oven which is very popular with the kids. Of course having heated the bbq up, to cook the pizzas or pizzeria one can then cook excellent steaks etc on the now very hot bbq. I would challenge anyone to find a better value combi bbq/pizza oven. The fantastic Big Green Egg is of course fantastic but so is the price at nearly £2k! The Lotus Grill and accessorises is by no means cheap but at about £600 for the Xl with lid and pizza stone it is not bad. Strongly recommended!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
