Swiffer Vac review
For a lightweight vac for lint, pet hair etc. on the floor, it works good. This is the second one I have owned. Batteries have a short life cycle and cost half as much (or more) as the unit to replace. Handy to have around for a quick pickup job. Filter is easy to clesn. Mixed feelings
I love the Swiffer Vac when it works. It is a wonderful cleaning tool, when it stays charged. Unfortunately, the one I recently purchased does not hold the charge for very long. (and it should cuz it's new) This is a problem I have had with this product in the past, but it usually occurs after I have owned it for a few months. It would be a far better product if it had a better battery (holds a charge for longer time periods) and if it had a REPLACEABLE battery. Instead, I have to replace the entire mop each time the battery goes wonky. The one I just purchased acts as if it has a well-used battery in it, so that is disappointing. However, the manufacturers could design a much better product that holds a better charge and allows the owners to change the batteries when they finally give out.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Far better than a broom or vacuum!!
I absolutely love this product. As a test I swept the floor with a broom, than vacuumed it. Than I used the swifter sweeper and was shocked at the dust and dirt that was left behind by the broom and vac. I highly suggest this product if your a fussy cleaner as myself. You will be surprised like I was if you test it out like I did. And it's a great time saver. Easy to use and easy on the back. BEST version of Swiffer Sweeper (don't buy the new version Dark Gray)
I recently purchased the "new" shinny gray version to replace my old version which lasted me 8 years. Well, after a few days of use I noticed that the new version does not "suck" as well because I would have more dust/debris on the cleaning pad underneath instead. Also, the new location of the power button on the handle, I would turn off the new unit by accident when ever I moved my hand. The charge plug is "polarized" or meant to be inserted only one way; but just like USB (useless B) you have a to twist it around to get it in; unlike the plain and simple "round" plug of the older version. So, I trashed the "new" version and chased down the "older" version and I am happy once again.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

A MUST IF YOU HAVE DOGS
I have vinyl and tile floors and 2 dogs that shed. Sweeping just moves hair and dust. This little sweeper vac is a really great alternative to the higher priced sweepers. I picks up everything including the sand that they bring in. They need to make it so the charge lasts longer. This is my second one because the charge does not last for all rooms.
