Quite good, but...
I buy this Targus cooler because it's the only one I've found that is closed underneath so it will work on a duvet. I'm using it with a 13" Clevo and there's less that an inch spare on each side, rather more front to back. The cooler is well designed (you can thread the USB cable through to the other side to suit your laptop ports), and it's quite well made and fairly quiet. However, I would have liked the fans to be a little stronger (would that make them louder?), I can't give you temps but feel it could be more effective - better than nothing, though. After a couple of years the last one I had, the USB cable pulled away from its plug, exposing the wires - surprising, as it was hardly ever plugged in and out or tugged. The laptop cooler market isn't awash with choice, for my needs, so I stick with this Targus.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Reasonable product for the price
I have 17" laptop but edges hand out off the pad. Perhaps need to be a bit more wider to claim compatibility with 17" and my laptop is sliding down too. Would accomodate 16" easily though. Comfy and works really well
Works surprisingly well and having not used one before am really impressed. The dual fans work very effectivly and there is little to no noise coming from them. The build quality is fine and it does exactly what it says it should do. I do like the angle which the keyboard is presented, it makes typing more comfortable. It is probably a little too wide for my laptop but thats my fault in ordering the bigger of the two items.
