    Not the mama.

    Loved this show ,my younger sisters favourite show back when it first came out. Got box set so my great nephews and niece could watch. They love it too now . very pleased with purchase . gotta love it.

    Great nostalgic set.

    As good as I remember from being a kid but probably better and not as scary in parts like it used to be for me. Nice remembering some episodes and also nice to see some ones I've not seen before. So top marks for that. However. (Not the sellers fault obviously) While It plays in English without subtitles, there is most likely missed jokes and confusion or indeed slight annoyance in that you have no idea what the characters are reading or watching on tv as they are still written in another language. Also episode selections and settings are in another language which cannot be changed. So no idea what any of the episodes are called. But once you work out which is settings and click English it does indeed play in English. If you don't mind that then its still a great set. Alas there is no alternative otherwise unless you have a multi region player and buy the American boxset.

    Blast from the past

    I watched this with my 2 older kids when it was on the telly many years ago - we loved it. I showed my 2 younger children some of the clips available on you tube and they absolutely love it too, my 8 year old literally cries with laughter. It is soooo funny and entertaining. I am chuffed to bits that I have managed to get the complete series so we can enjoy this show over and over again. All of the characters are fab but Baby is the bees knees, it's hilarious the way he treats Earl (his Dad). Love it !!!! He's the baby, you gotta love him !!!!

    Good story., engaging characters. Daphne du Maurier captures very well, the brooding, sinister atmosphere of Jamaica Inn.
