Simple baby monitor
Sound quality is so-so. It didn't filter out the noise of fan. But perhaps none of them could. Battery life is bad and didn't even last through the night (maybe the batteries were faulty). The unit is very slow to charge up batteries. So if you are counting on getting it plugged in when downstairs and using batteries over night every day, it may not charge up quick enough. My other Motorola monitor uses standard USB cables, so it was easy to use cables from other gadgets (eg, Kindle cables) for the parent unit. This monitor uses its own proprietary charger, so I only have the one. What I do sometimes when desperate is to use a separate AA battery charger to charge the rechargeable batteries (much faster) and swap them in the monitor since the unit uses standard AA batteries.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Absolutely amazing!
Firstly I had an angelcare breathing monitor which I couldn't trust as I only have a next2me cot so I bought this after reading amazing reviews and it is definitely by far the best! I can hear every little noise even her breathing! It was that clear I could hear the person on the phone who my partner was talking to in that same room as the monitor!
