Vax W87 DV B Carpet Cleaner.
This carpet cleaner has a lovely shape to it and two large water tanks. It has a large hose so you can do the stairs without any problems. You can not use it like an Hoover, you have to use it very slowly to get great results. It leaves your carpets nearly dry and smelling a lot fresher. You can clean up spills and remove stains frrom your carpet with the on board brush. The cleaner is so easy to put together, if I can do it any one can. Im sorry that I did not get one earlier. It will also clean lino floors but Im not so sure about wooden ones as I do not have any wooden floors. Although it is a bit dearer than some of the cleaners on the market, It is well worth the money. You also get a twelve month garantee with the machine which saves the worry of repairing it. Replacement belt.
I recently purchased one of these. Using it for the first time it unthreaded some of my carpet and wrapped it around the brush. This broke the internal flat belt. Fair enough this was my fault. So I phoned Vax for a replacment belt only to be told that they don't supply them.
