Great sander for the money,
I’ve actually used to stand before another one is like this obviously I went through quality control with this one. And found that the button that moves the front wheel kept loosening due to the vibrations of the machine, so I put my own spring on to tighten that up, and worked well,Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

no problems with the person i bought it from, the problem is the product itself, was making a funny noise when very light pressure put on it, so it went back under the garauntee, 3 weeks later & many phone calls, i finally got it back, was not in a very clean condition, as would expect, it was covered in sawdust & loads of sawdust in the box, itlooked as tho it had been well used (when you consider i had only used it about 4 times) also when i went to use it, its sound was no different than when i sent it away, so got in touch with B&B who said they would send me a replacement,, this arrived in due course, BUT, it wasnt a KA88, it was a KA86 , the smaller model, hence all the sanding belts i had purchased did not fit the KA86 (had bought 30 of them) so now have to spend more money to get the right size belts, pointed this out to B&D am still waiting for an answer, but in the meantime they have sent me one of their dustbusters, i suppose as a sweetner, to alleviate the difference in the models ?? i have looked through ebay etc to see if this model is still for sale & don't seem to be able to find one??? has this been discontinued or withdrawn ??? i wonder why, is this an inherant problem with the KA88???, so basically i am not very impressedVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Very powerful machine, gives a great finish
The machine is extremely powerful and gives a great finish to the work. Very substantially built and heavy which is what you need if like me you are sanding down floorboards.
