Feeling run down
Though they claimed to be pre-charged these arrived flat and had to be charged overnight. They were bought for rechargeable Panasonic phones which were getting a little tired after 2 years. Although these Duracells claim 900mAh as opposed to the Panasonic 550mAh they don't stay charged in the phones as long as the `worn out` Panasonic batteries. I can only imagine that these were older than the 5 years stay charged life they claim. They were much more than the cheapest on offer and in my view not worth the price. Battered and not bright enough
Very disappointed with this product. I am registered blind/severely sight impaired and need reliable batteries for use in my Led Lenser P7 torch, which usually emits a light bright enough to enable me to move around the house, aolthough it is less efficient outdoors. Even with intermittent use, however, these batteries last only a maximum of two days before requiring a full 4 hour recharge. This is not what I expected from a brand with such a high profile as Duracell and I would be very reluctant to purchase any more of these so-called long-lasting, high power batteries. An cost-effective way of not buying standard batteries every few weeks.
Duracell is a reliable product with experience in designing and making batteries of all kinds. These rechargeable ones appear to work well with a long life and losing their charge reasonably evenly, not like the older NiCads which work right up to the point where they simply die without much warning. The long term life of these batteries remain to be seen. I see no reason why they should not last for a similar life as my AA versions which are only just beginning to lose their charge length after at least 8 years of being charged an average of twice per month having been in constant use for an Apple Mouse and keyboard.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Excellent rechargeable AAA batteries!
Excellent AAA rechargeable batteries. I like the Duracell ones best, I have tried various makes over the years for rechargeable batteries and I tend to go back to Duracell, one charge just seems to last longer and the life of the battery is always good I have found, so I buy the best ones I can with the highest mAh rating when I can find them at a price I am prepared to pay!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

An ecologically beneficial product from a trusted manufacturer
Rechargeable batteries are, by themselves, a huge benefit to the environment when compared directly to their single use, single charge alternatives. With possibly 1000 recharges possible (not checked the number for accuracy), this type of battery avoids a huge amount of ecological damage. Then, the brand "Duracell" has become so tried and tested over the years that it's actually become part of the language, a term used for shows of astonishing endurance.
