A little bit more life out of an otherwise slow netbook
I bought this in an attempt to make an old Gateway netbook work a little faster....Replaced the single-processor AMD chip....Not too many choices available for this machine.....Pain in the ass to take the netbook apart (and tougher to put back together....But, hey, no parts left over :))...Anyway, it connects to the net a bit faster, which was the purpose of the upgrade....No blazing speeds were expected, but this machine is sometimes taken on short trips when a normal laptop would be a bit too bulky....So it does the job just fine.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Cheap upgrade for old netbook
Old Gateway netbook LT31 was painfully slow. Found a modding guy that recommended this processor as a relatively easy upgrade - no mucking around with the BIOS is necessary. Had to completely take the netbook apart to install the chip, used YouTube tutorial to walk through it. Connected all the tiny cables and screws together, new computer.
