The Traxxas Nitro Slash is a classic RTR 2WD 1/10 scale short course truck. This monster is designed for high performance on dirt tracks, short grass, sand, and other off-road conditions. It comes complete with radio and all electronics preinstalled. Driven by the nitro powered Traxxas 3.3 engine, it has a top speed of over 50 MPH stock. Fueled by a 150cc fuel tank, it is capable of running several races without restarting. When needed, starting is a breeze thanks to the EZ-Start glow plug system used on the engine. The Traxxas Nitro Slash is easy to operate and is a great learning R/C nitro truck for beginners.The Nitro Slash is RTR and only requires fuel in its tank and the radio battery charged to be driven. Starting it is as simple as pressing a button, and it comes already paired with the provided controller. This means that the Traxxas Nitro Slash is a great truck for racing right out of the box. It's also an excellent way to get into nitro cars and trucks. One of the easiest nitro trucks to use within the Traxxas line, it is compatible with a broad range of Traxxas accessories. Thanks to Traxxas' uniformity, it is compatible with components from the Charger, Rustler, and Stampede lines of trucks and cars. It is also popular with VXL upgrades with many VXL parts able to bolt on with just a few screws. Like the Stampede, it can be upgraded to 4WD with appropriate accessories. Supplement the onboard computer by the Traxxas Telemetry System accessory. Authentic body covers, featuring both Robby Gordon and Mark Jenkins liveries, are also available.The heart of the Slash is its stock engine. This reliable engine powers through thousands of races, ensuring you are always be ready to go. Mounted on a durable plastic chassis, it's capable of withstanding all off-road racing's bumps, jumps, and falls. The steering servo is likewise robust, capable of controlling the tires even under high-speed conditions. As a rear wheel drive vehicle, the Slash features excellent acceleration. This is delivered through specially designed self-reinflating tires that supplement the shock absorbers on long jumps and rough terrain. The Slash handles a wide variety of accessory upgrades from the electronics system to the tires, chassis, and shock absorbers. Customize for differing track conditions or switch out components to get more power to the wheels. This 2WD vehicle delivers all its power to the rear wheels, offering scale handling and performance similar to a real short course truck.
