A Couple Nitpicks, But A Great Printer
I wish I could give this unit five stars, but it's the jet clogging that takes away that perfect rating. I've had several WorkForce printers over the years and it seems to be a problem with all of them. The jets clog, you run the machine through a cleaning cycle, and the results are often haphazard. Plus, I've NEVER had luck with generic ink cartridge replacements on WorkForce units (as opposed to my ancient 15-year-old Epson Stylus Photo R320, which never clogs and accepts all generic cartridges). There, those are the demerits. Elsewise, I love these printers. Great copy, scan, and fax functions, ethernet and wifi capable, and paper jams are pretty minimal.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Good Product
Just bought this printer for the second time and can't explain how satisfied I am with its operation. So easy to set up and efficient for every day home use. The prints were fantastic and the picture quality on even an A4 paper comes out clean. Use with various photo print paper and the outcome is excellent. Great Printer
This was an easy printer to setup and operate. Run the disk and everything is done for you. The only setup I had to do was enter the IP address for our network. We scan and print through the network to a couple of computers (Win 10). The auto document feeder can hold several pages and will feed and scan one at a time. Both paper trays combined will hold 500 sheets. A couple of features to note (we have not used yet), google cloud and rear feed for envelopes. Great little multi-function printer for home or small office
This is our second WF-3540 in the house. We purchased the first one a few years ago from Costco. We really like the "scan, copy and print" functionality. Not many people use the fax these days, but that's useful for people that need it. It's compact, lightweight, wireless and easy to set up. We had a motive in that we only wanted to keep track of one set of ink cartridges. This is my 5th of this model--wish I had 100 of them
I LOVE this printer! I bought one as a store demo, then got 3 more from eBay! I have worn all of them out. [Make me an offer since each one stopped printing for a different reason! LOL] This printer allows me to print 4 pages per sheet automatically. Also nice if you want to use different color or type of paper because you have two paper trays. The doc feeder will copy two sides automatically, working its way through the whole master document. Color is terrific--and since you have 3 color tanks plus black (and that can be a double size) you never have to pitch one of those wasteful 3-in-1 color cartridges. And the ink is cheap on eBay. I used to fill the refillable type, but convenience is reigning right now and I buy the filled ones. Best Epson Printer.
I have printed over 40, 000 pages on my other Epson 3540. It just keeps on printing. Only downside is the waste reservoir that is expensive to replace. However, generic brands are available online. This is a workhorse printer. It has every feature you need in an office like fax, duplex printing, large capacity paper trays and more.
