I owned one of these in the past and it stopped worked after only one year. I don't hold that against Motorola, it is what it is. The problem I had and have is that it is difficult for me to see what the different controls are without taking the speaker off of my visor. That's ok when I'm parked or waiting for a light to change, but dangerous when I'm driving. What I do, when possible, is pull over to the side and take it off the visor to see it better. Very bad microphone
This device seemed a very good option for me because i do not have an aux plug in my car. At firts i thought it was amazing since i could put on fm mode and the call would go in my car speaker. The sound was really good. (Thanks to my car stereo). However it is absolutely not good for talking on the phone. People always tell me they can't hear me. As if i was very far (the device is cliped over my head?!l?). The most common comment i have from people i am trying to talk to is that is the ambiant sound in my car is too loud for them to hear me.(and i turned off the fans, and the music). The only moment they can hear me clearly is when i am parked. Really, i think this device is useless. Don't buy it. I should have made better research , i found out that a lot of people that are happy with this item, are people that were sent this device for free from motorola. Good BT Car Speakerphone
Very easy to link to my Samsung 4 phone. It turns on-and-off when my phone is within 10-feet of device. I would prefer a bit more volume on the speaker itself, but it's got a BT link to the car radio to compensate for that. Likewise, some callers have said that my voice volume is slightly low, but not terrible. solid design but weak voice

Small size makes easy placement
The Roadster 2 is very easy to place in the vehicle as it does not take up much room. It turns automatically when I enter the car and turns off when I leave. Each time it comes on it gives a battery status report. I can hear callers well over the system and they say they have no problem hearing me. My only problem is that some of the extended controls are on the back side of the unit and I cannot access them while driving as it would distract me. Pretty solid unit
Overall I'm pleased with the unit. It does what it is supposed to do. Clear transmission and receiving. Easy to use. Way better than expected!
It's better than the factory bluetooth in my wife's 2012 car! It talks to my iPhone 6... not just for the phone, but I can tell it to "Navigate to..." a location or address and it accesses the iPhone's navigation functions! I have a lot of road noise in my 2001 Sebring convertible and it still does a great job with it's noise canceling electronics. I found that it works better with the volume lower than I would expect. I thought I'd need it loud in that car but lower volume gives less distortion to both me and the person on the other end of the call. I've been recommending it to people and I bought another one as a gift for a friend. Physically, it's small, thin, sleek and easy to use. Love it. I also love how it turns on when I get in the car. Unfortunately it also turns on when I walk past my car in the garage or driveway, but no harm, no foul. It's just funny when it does that. Not a big fan of using it on the car radio/ speakers, but the fact that it will do that is cool. A friend had purchased one for his dad and with change in the hands-free law, I figured I'd buy one. So far so good
Just received this, paired it with my phone.....very easy to do, good directions. If this lasts then it is a really good buy compared to other sites (A, etc.). It comes in a plain brown easy open box, it is new. It comes with a car charger, I found you can use a cell phone charger in the house, it fits as most of them are generic now. It did need charging before it would pair with my phone, as soon as I plugged the charger in it was ready to pair and spoke to me. I downloaded motospeak app and it prompted me to load my contacts from my phone. Sound quality is very good, I called my hubby and he heard me perfectly through the speaker. I would highly recommend, I did a lot of research on these before I purchased, it is one of the top blue tooth speaker phones out there for a very reasonable price. The nice thing is it turns on/off automatically when entering/leaving the car, so you don't have to remember to do it.
