Still in the burn in stage but the rogers tube is killing it. My soundstage has definitely improved. Running it in a dennis had hot rod amp w kt88 drivers pushing tekton brilliance speakers. Beats a nos tung sol us made 5ar4
The reproduction Mullard tubes sound great in vintage audio gear
I recommend the replica Mullard tubes for vintage audio and radio gear. They work well, have great tone and produce a mellow sound like the original tubes did in the 50s.
Expensive but work the price on special projects.
On receiving the tube, GZ34 metal based tube was fitted into the socket. I was surprised with the sound changes with 2A3 amplifier. The sound is deeper, flawless, neutral and well textured.
