Easy to use - no hassles
Bought this used as we lost our old NUVI (1st Generation) and was most impressed with the difference in usability. It sticks to the windscreen with ease and the lead it long enough and flexible enough to reach the in car power port. It was preloaded with Europe and UK so have had no problems as yet. The screen has a lot of information including current speed limit which is handy. It also has a 'best lane' feature for coming on/off of motorways etc which is surprisingly handy too. The only downside is that the volume can't be changed in real time ie you have to go into the menu screen and find the volume to change it which is difficult whilst driving. works ok
main problem was inferior sound but sorted out via software, works well & has lifetime maps, but has no bluetooth which these days is a major requirement, gave it to my daughter for use in her vehicle, as she has alternative BT connection, all of these garmin sat navs would benefit from a audio socket. like my old 660Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

simple to use. extremly fast to calculate routes etc. even gets a signal indoirs where 4 other sat nav wouldnt. voice is changable great feature. worked out a route that will cut journey by 1 hour over my other sat nav and save aprox ten pounds fuel. very well built. so good i put tomtom in the bin. i couldnt get along with TT but this garmin is super. bit like iphone against samsung. but id highly rec this if your a samsung type of person. if not TT. can not fault it wires are good length. clamp is very steady.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Refurbished

The Sat Nav freezes frequently, tells of turnings over a mile away, says turn left/right but not next turning has no roundabouts at times where there are clearly some, has mobile cameras alerts in some roads which seem to be on 80% of the route and the grey box obstructing the map view not at all thought out.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
