The Nikon D90 is a DSLR camera kit that comes equipped with an 18 mm to 55 mm lens. The Nikon 12.3 MP camera features a DX-format, CMOS image sensor along with technology that was directly inherited from the D300. This DSLR camera features a 12.3 MP image quality with a high signal-to-noise ratio that allows this camera to deliver low noise images with great detail. With its D-Movie mode, the Nikon D90 can capture 720p video that can be shot in three different resolutions of 320x216 pixels, 640x424 pixels, or 1280x720 pixels. This Nikon 12.3 MP camera features Nikon’s Integrated Dust Reduction system, which works to remove image-degrading particles from the sensor’s optical filter. The camera can perform continuous shooting at 4.5 fps. This camera has low noise ISO sensitivity from 200 to 3,200. The Nikon 12.3 MP camera is equipped with a 3-inch, super density 920,000 dot color LCD monitor that is useful for reviewing images or capturing live shots. Photos and video are saved to a SD or SDHC card. The lens in this camera kit features 3x zoom, vibration reduction, and an aperture of f/3.5 to f/5.6. Nikon D90 AF-S Great quality Shots
The D90 Nikon was a step up by Nikon from the other D series DX cameras, the quality of resolution and being the first in the Nikon line to enable video. With the kit lens 18-55 or the other lenses the D90 works exceptionally well under a host of conditions. The image resolution is without a doubt of high quality and clarity. I have a series of the Nikon Dx cameras from the D50 to the D5600, on most outings I prefer the D90 when on board my boat, using anything from a 18-105, 18-55,70- 300 or others.I have no issues and the camera is a tad heavier than the D3100 or the D5600, I have used a manual 500mm with great results when its tripod mounted and with an optional remote shutter release taken excellent exposure shots.
