Aluminium black.
Good Quality, I wanted to turn the cocking lever on my air gun from the bare aluminium it left the factory with to black, as when you're how hunting, you don't want anything shinny alerting any of your prey, this stuff did the trick. The lever get quite a lot of use and I thought paint would just, rub off, this stuff doesn't! A couple of coats was all it needed, recommend!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Fast acting but not very durable.
The first coat is very fast acting, more or less instantaneous. But it needs several coats to build up from a bronzey brown to a black colour. After five or so coats you get an acceptable black but the surface is not very durable. If you are after a weathered appearance this product gives a great, slightly patchy worn finish. I liked the worn look but would have preferred a more durable finish. If you were looking for a deep durable black finish I think you are going to be disappointed.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
