Well Made but Uncomfortable
Bought as an occasional put-me-up, these beds are compact and quite well-made. However, unlike similar beds from years ago, these Jay-Be beds don't use metal springs under the mattress. Instead they use curved wooden spars which are designed to bend under body weight. I found this 'springing' very unyielding and uncomfortable and actually sold the bed after one use. Perfect " spare " bed
Bought this fold up bed for when my little Grandson came to stay and have to say that it has been a god send. It is very well made and the mattress is plenty thick enough to give a good night sleep. Although i bought it mainly for my Grandson, i would be more than happy to spend a night on it. Does what it says on the can
Wanted an extra bed for the occasional visitor and this fits the bill. Easy to put up and down comfortable and well made. East to stow away. Beech slats are far better than those with springs . Would recommend this item.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
