Brilliant entry level computerised machine!
I bought this after using one at a sewing class. The best feature for me is that you can make it stop needle down (or up) every time you lift your foot off the pedal. I used to get fed up with having to manually do this on my old Toyota. It also has a 'tortoise to hare' slider so you can set the maximum speed regardless of how much pressure you accidentally put on the pedal! The automatic buttonhole settings are really good too. The only negative in comparison to my old machine is the spool of thread sits on its side and it's sometimes a bit tricky to wind the bobbin with the spool unwinding in this position. Make sure you get one with a manual, as I had to ask Janome to send me a PDF (which they did very quickly for free) and I had to print the many pages myself!Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
