Overall this is a budget item rather than a serious scanner.
Pros: Inexpensive Software easy to install Easy to connect Needs no power supply other than a USB connection Cleaning brush is very effective at removing dust Small footprint Superfast scan Software provides basic adjustments to exposure colour etc Cons Software is very basic and frequently crashes (Under Windows 10) It does not remember settings (file path, custom adjustments, resolution) Slide and film carrier are nice rigid and secure with magents but no adjustment for film and slide sprockets, resulting in edges showing and cropping Even at the highest resolution, the results have edge fringing and limited colour pallet Overall this is a budget item rather than a serious scanner.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
