Does the job but not designed for heavy duty
My previous retractable indoor washing line unit was constructed of metal whereas this model is made of plastic so is only suitable for lightweight duties.

I connected the item to both walls using...
I connected the item to both walls using the fixtures supplied. I pulled the line out and attached it to the other wall. No sooner had I tried to hang some washing on it, but it sprang back and all four lines became entangled. Try as I might I could not disentangle them. A waste of money

It does the job .
I found it tricky to put on the wall as the screw on the left was difficult as the roller is in the way .Not sure if it was me not doing it right ,but I got there in the end by guess work . The rope is not as strong as my old one but it does the job !

Ok but not great.
Quite a cheap device. Quality doesn’t seem overly great. The cables are all at different lengths when you tighten the tensioner only two cables are tight. The others all droop hugely. I’ve managed a workaround. It does the job. Just.
