A very inexpensive solution for weather proofing convertible roofs
I was a bit dubious about whether this product would actually work but it has worked wonders for my fabric convertible roof during the winter months. Unprecidented wet weather conditions resulted in constant wet carperts and damp smells inside my car. If left unattended this could lead to mold and a damaged car interior. Water leaks have ceased since applying this fantastic weather proofing product to my convertible roof. Does what it says on the tin
Fabsil is the best for reproofing camping gear and the Tent the tin is way better than a spray can, I find it best to pour into one of the pressure spray bottles got from Wilko and a soft brush to help spread it, dries on a reasonable day in a couple of hours ..... I have used fabsil for a number of years . I last purchased an aerosol to treat a walking jacket but proofing a backpack after washing I decided to apply by brush and the extra liquid can be stored to treat an umbrella when needed. Mx5 mohair fabric roof works
1 treatment of painting it on my convertible roof on my Mohair mx5 mark 3. Used a clean paint brush and my roof is rain proof again. Also works in the automatic car wash!
