    Cheap, simple & robust.

    This is the second one I have used to replace a motorised valve without having to delve into the main CH junction box. A complete cover comes off both halves making wiring dead easy. It is a fairly soft plastic which, I guess, should not break too easily. There is plenty of space on both halves of the plug & socket on which you can colour the connectors to match the wires (reduces the chance of expensive mistakes). *****ISOLATE IT BEFORE CUTTING THE OLD CABLE***** If you have never done it before, the idea is to cut through the complete cable to the OLD motorised valve leaving a long cable going to the junction box. That way you can more easily wire the 5 way socket without scrunching yourself into a ball in a cramped airing cupboard. Similarly, you can wire the NEW motorised valve in a comfortable location before you install it. Just leaving the plug danging until you are ready.

    Very over priced for a flimsy connector. Only bought it for its future handiness of simply swapping out a faulty motorised valve head, will save time after initial installation hopefully.
