Excellent album and if thats not enough their is another disc of the Specials live
The first 2 tracks are rather funky, and still very political and then you get the music which every one would associate with Terry Hall, Two tone Ska with a political message, also their is a cover of The lunatics are taking over the Asylum with a new twist . The Specials Encore
Ok I have quite an obsessive 2 Tone era music collection. Ghost Town was my first decent 7" purchase. Encore has some great new tracks. Current themes and issues relevant to today. They at least tap into my concerns. Tory not my story. Some great SKA sounds as well as continued Musak experimentation reminiscent than More Specials. I already prefer this to In The Studio. Wow! A gem of an album.
Wow, How did I miss this one when it was released. Thankfully I have been enlightened. A wonderful collection of old and new songs from one off the most gifted groups from the last 50 years. A 'Specials' comeback!
Normal cd price. Great new tracks on the album and a disc of live versions of their 70's and 80's classics. It was worth about 40 years of The Specials for this release.
