Awesome sound quality.
There's not many tracks that can push my NVA system to its limits, but this CD certainly did. The first minute showed me bulleting across the room to turn down the gain before my speakers gave up. But it's not just about the heavy times.... the lighter tunes are gloriously recorded and the silences are well... silent. It's well recorded, mixed and presented. Zimmer at his best.......
I have to be honest I am not a fan of the composer Hans Zimmer, that said nobody can deny that this score is amount his very best. To me it is obvious that Zimmer was inspired by the classical music score of 2001 when he was creating this, the thunderous and rousing organ chords etc. I recommend hearing it with the film first for maximum effect and then purchase the disc, there are a few stand out tracks that would work quite well in the concert hall. Looking forward At the Christopher Nolan/Hans Zimmer collaboration and seeing that Dunkirk is next I am quietly excited after enjoying Interstellar so much.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

This is a stunning and deeply moving soundtrack that still retains its supreme magic, even when heard separate to the movie. (where many other soundtracks can often lose their relevance).
