Brilliant !
I had been looking for some time for a proper coffee percolater , easy to use , making good tasting .. not metallic tasting .. keeping coffee hot too .. overjoyed with this one ! Just like when i was a teenager at home .. i have tried and used all the other kind of coffee makers .. none of them are as good as this one .. and no , i am not getting paid for my comments nor did i get a free percolator !! ...and the same one is a lot more expensive anywhere else .. have a good cuppa and enjoy your day !

Not very easy to use. Bad design.
I have an older model of the Elgento which has unfortunately given up the ghost. I have purchased a new one but it doesn't perform like it's former model. It percolates perfectly and rapidly but then, unlike the earlier model, it stays hot for only about an hour and then the neon lights extinguish and it cools down and if you go to it expecting it still to be dispensing HOT coffee you'll find it just tepid. The external switch is also very difficult to use as you need 2 hands to operate it and there's no way you can keep the percolator still with the other due to the heat of the pot. I really cannot understand what the designers were thinking, did they not expect users to want HOT coffee all the time the percolator is functioning? Step back in time
Many years ago long :before filter coffee machines I had an Pick ceramic percolator which made excellent coffee. This Elements makes it just as good and is extremely quick. My only reservation is that it is a bit tinny and I am not sure how long it will last under daily use but until then it DOES make good coffee. And hot.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

The machine we’ve been looking for
Our last coffee machine also made great coffee - but we had to clean it and refill it 3 times a day. This machine is huge, so once a day is usually enough. Elgento coffee percolator E011MO
I only have one problem with the coffee percolator... The on/off switch is awkward to use with it having a waterproof cover over it so you have to press it several times for it to switch on properly. Great Coffee maker.....
This Elgento Percolator simply makes great coffee once you suss out how much coffee you need. There is a guide in the instruction booklet, but obviously every one has different tastes. Excellent Percolator.
I had a Russell Hobbs previously to this one. I have always loved good fresh percolated coffee. This new one is every bit as good and the glass top is better in as much as it screws into the top instead of just being a small twist lock. Slightly disappointed
Arrived promptly but without instructions. No wrapping, just an address label on the box. It was wet inside so had clearly been washed out but not dried. Not a good idea with stainless steel. Have only used it a couple of times and have not quite mastered getting the strength right. Think I need to invest in some coarser ground coffee.
