Great radio rugged frame good quality
This radio does pretty good with a Diamond antenna I purchased for it to replace rubber ducky. It’s a tough built radio, and the battery seems to well with a full charge. Comes with readable manual and it has done well with repeaters and simplex. I have hooked it up in car to a Tram 1185 magnet antenna and it works pretty good as well. Wonderful radio
Unbelievable radio and for the first time in a long time it has a battery that will actually last days between charges. A pleasure to operate and while it's packed with special functions their mostly not needed. Open box, charge it and you're on the air. Comfortable and built like a tank. Better than the icom and kenwood. Love it and I own two icom ic-v82s. Good radios but the worst batteries that can't hold a charge. If you're transmitting maybe 20 to 30 minutes tops.
