This is one excellent timepiece! Although it has some weight to it, it doesn’t feel heavy on the wrist. Read other reviews whereas other owners complained about the design of the edgy case and how uncomfortable it felt on their wrists. In my opinion, the design is different from other timepieces, which is a definite plus for me. I like walking to the beat of a different drummer! So far, the watch keeps decent time...-5 seconds a day which is pretty good for a automatic. The band has the look and feel of quality. The lume is excellent! Great value but ONLY for an XL wrist.
This watch is a great value! The case, movement, bezel and finish all feel VERY premium and nice. My two issues with the watch were the size, and the bracelet. You need to try one of these on in person before purchase because it's BIG and wears even bigger (think Panerai). Secondly, the bracelet - especially the clasp - feels cheap in comparison with the case and movement. The rubber strap is actually really nice, comfortable and innovative. A Seiko with swagger
This is a very solid Seiko! Even though the movement is not the most current, bleeding edge design- it's still a work horse. It's been said that although this Samurai is a larger watch, but wears smaller. Sorry- not really. While it's not the OG size of recent fashion, it's a good, beefy size. This is an excellent entry to Seiko mechanical watches as the movement is a good step above the venerable 7S26. This watch is super comfortable and on the plus side gains a few seconds a day (better than losing time imo) even the stock metal bracelet isn't that bad.
