Just as Good as the Branded Stuff
Fills well, smoothes well, and hardens quickly. It is very light, and works when filling ceilings and doesn’t sag. I ain’t a professional and the finish is almost paintable, just a light sand is required for finishing. It is good stuff with a couple of caveats
It is good stuff with a couple of caveats I used it for filling in door latch rebates when changing locks and it filled the previous hole in one go although it does take more than half an hour to dry and harden if you splodge it in thick. It didn't shrink and I finished it off with a final layer that did dry quickly. It sanded down very well but it is quite hard and if you're not careful your softwood frame my sand quicker than the filler. It is harder than plaster too so when I filled holes where I'd moved sockets and switches I found that the first rough fill should be with this but finish off with Polyfilla or similar as I was sanding down all around the fill and reducing that but not the filler. It's not the best for very thin layers as it tends to lift off as your spreading it but if you can get it to stick when spreading them it really is stuck and doesn't come off later. 100% recommended but use as a base filler and finish with a finer grade plaster based filler.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great for cosmetic jobs
This is so light and easy to use. As specified it's not suitable for heavy jobs but I've used it to make good cosmetically after having fittings etc removed and found it easy to use and with a great finish.
