Easy action at just the right height and size.
This is my second Dryer and because I was so pleased with the first one I reordered when mine finally had to be replaced (well over 10 years!). But a slight niggle with the new one when closed the arms don't stay "locked" in and I have to tie it with an elastic expander. Very poor
This is the second hills washing line we have had. the first was a good product a part broke on it and we are unable obtain one. we have had this line almost a month now and despite oiling the winding handle several times my wife and i will soon need to go into training and use both hands to raise and lower the thing. The plastic unit actually bends and moves as you attempt to use it. The old line never was or is a problem in this area. So to sum it all up its a very poor piece of kit in the winding up area. Best Hoist ever
Got this hoist to replace poles which had to be taken out of garden. I had a Hills hoist in a previous house which had to be left, so I wanted another which was going to be really strong and I am not disappointed in the quality. I would really recommend any Hills hoist, I chose this particular one for my needs. Only thing I would point out is the height. I am 5ft 4ins and just reach the height of the hanging ropes. This was something we did not work out when the spike was cemented . It's not a real problem as the garden has an ever so slight slope at one side! Only thing is I do not have a cover for it and it is heavy to remove and put away each time so I leave it out. Great room for clothes on my one, 4 arms. This is the second hills rotary Dryer I have purchased, Both are very strong and easy to install the only fault that I can see is that on both occasions I have had to change the line because it was to thin and the cloths peg do not hold the cloths in place but that not to say its a bad product. Robust washing line with plenty of space. Easy to operate. Some Hills Rotary Lines have pull out retainer to stop lines getting tangled when in closed position but not this one which is disappointing. Brilliant Hill's rotary drier
I had a Hill's rotary dryer years ago , but moved house & left it behind. My line broke so I decided to treat myself to a Hill's again. Why did I not get another years ago? Absolutely brilliant.
