Good quality and very easy to set up.
I really like it, except for one thing. My TV is 28” and the writing on the guide and recording features, as well as all on screen writing is difficult to read. If I can make it larger, that will be brilliant. Great that I can record four programmes at the same time.

A top product well worth the money
I had a Humax for years this one is my new upgrade and it is a fantastic box of tricks some people who have never had one of these brands before may find it a little complicated but I would say persevere it is well worth it the set-up is really self exoplanetary on screen and easy to follow it has android so you will need a google account to get the best out of the apps log in to all the tv apps like the BBC .itv. 4 and lots of others can be a bit of a bind but once done you have access to flashback tv for the last week and further back .you can record 4 channels at once while watching another recorded channel or 3 while watching live tv the remote has a mic to give android instructions which work pretty well. --------------------------------- bits I don't like but nothing much to worry about. Some of the remote buttons are still too small and fiddley when you change channels there is a 1-second delay before anything happens you may think you have not pressed it and do it again if you want a very good Freeview recorder which also dos a lot of what the android play store on your phone dos then this is the one . it is excellent

Best set-top box from Humax yet!
I’ve been using this for around two weeks now and it ticks all the boxes, amazing capacity, smooth and easy to use interface, highly customisable, as well as the capability to install kodi from the play store, and even it’s built-in apps perform better than those on my smart TV, however, I would recommend disabling the built-in My5 app and download the one from the play store, as that one performs far better. YouTube also operates smoothly and runs perfect 4K playback without any lags or snags, this box is all in on performance and I haven’t noticed any slow-downs, it really does give sky Q a run for their money. If you’re looking for a box that beats any other competitor on the Freeview market, get this one, because you won’t regret it, as stated, it will record 4 programmes at once and let you watch a fifth as well as giving you access to a wide range of on-demand content from pretty much any provider, including Disney+, NOW TV, Discovery+ and pretty much anything you would expect to see on the goodie play store, as I write this, the Humax Aura app is only available for android devices, however is due to come to the AppStore very soon, and looks like it will perform far better than its predecessor (LiveTV). Again, I would recommend to anyone who wants Freeview play in a recordable box that is smarter than any TV in the market, and if you’re considering buying. Go for it! You’ve got the green light from me!

Best recorder with memory options
I upgraded my internet unfortunately with Talktalk. Despite what I specified they supplied a sub standard recording device where I had to buy a additional memory stick . This would on allow single channel record whilst viewing another . Needless to say my wife was disappointed. I was recommended this recorder from Curry’s . Looking on internet reviews we’re great so no brainier. Speedy delivery and easy to set up . Wife now happy , recording bliss and happy life restored

Excellent build quality both the box and the remote, straightforward installation with the info provided. The box updated automatically during installation, channels were quickly found and I am using the box for viewing and recording and there is a helpful Aura App so that one can see upcoming programmes and set recordings remotely. After Registration you have a 2 Year Warranty what's not to like about that ?.
