Makita DMR115B Jobsite DAB Radio
Upgraded from predecessor which is still going strong after 8 years of loyal service. To be fair I will probably keep it in the office fo a while before I take it out to site,you know it will grow a pair of legs and “El Chorro with strike”if you leave it unattended in the lunch break whilst you’ve just popped down the chippy. I listen a lot to Smooth,Virgin,Kiss and Gold radio,and it receives these crystal clear on the DAB,refreshing not to have a radio preset with the BBC Channels,the DAB + was my primary reason for the upgrade otherwise I would not of bothered upgrading. If you thought the previous models had enough “Bass”,then this has got its very own 25watt subwoofer built in the base of this model,this is more than capable of drowning out any decorators on site listening to Radio 4 and the latest shipping forecasts. Cracking piece of kit,,really great robust build quality as with all things Makita manufacture these days,well worth my hard earned pennies! Hope the review helps someone make an informed purchase,you won’t regret it.

What a beauty!!!!!
Perfect, been wanting one for ages as my normal DAB is a non DAB+ so doesn’t pick up the extra stations. Wow how many extra stations does this bad boy have!!!!!!! And it’s Bluetooth too! I was looking for a decent DAB sound and this one absolutely nails it. Best sound I’ve heard from a work radio, actually best sound under £200.
