Great Armor Carrier!
This carrier was able to hold my soft armor panels as well as my ceramic plates. I bought the large in order to have the option of putting the large chest and back plates in this carrier. I'm 5'9" and weigh about 185 with about a 40" chest measurement. I had to fully tighten the cumber bun and sinch down the should straps to the shortest aadjustment to achieve the proper fit. That being said, it fits great and i have a good level of side coverage from the overlapping soft armor panels. I would recommend studying the Condor sizing chart that lists the exact measurements and compare that to some existing soft panels that you have to ensure the correct size selection. The way the armor plate pockets are designed is less than satisfactory does not hold the plates in properly it seems like a newer style I used to have one of these but the pockets for the plates were different if I could get an older one that would be the way to go the newer ones don't seem as good of quality or as functionableVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Lightweight and Comfortable
I've been wearing this vest for 10+ hours per day, 5 days/week for a few months now as an armed courier(armored truck). I use 3a soft plates(10x12 F/B and 6x6 cummerbund). The plates all fit perfectly. The weight is almost unnoticeable. It breathes very well, for a carrier. Not saying you won't sweat. The velcro on any part of this vest is ridiculous. I added sew on strips to the top of the pocket because it was TOO sticky for my needs. The snap and a little bit of velcro grabbing is all I need. I have almost hit myself in the face numerous times while lifting the pocket as well. Very strong. The reason I give it a 4 star is some of the stitching along the Molle has come undone, but none of the Molle has actually detached. And also the cummerbund runs big. I ordered the L/XL. The vest fits great, but I have the cummerbund adjusted as small as it will go, and I could still go smaller. I'm roughly 6' tall, 230 pounds(not muscular, but average). If I could, I'd order the L/XL vest with the S/M cummerbund and I think it would be perfect.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good kit
I use this carrier to house soft armor panels from a concealable vest. This vest is comfortable and distributes the small load I carry on it for work well. Velcro panels allow for all necessary identification patches as well. Great vest
This is my first vest and I must say I'm not disappointed at all with my purchase. It's very well built, the velcro has an insane amount of grab! I'm able to run a triple mag pouch across the front, a double on the right side cummerbund, and a double pistol mag on the left. I still have a lot of room for many other accessories. Condor XPC Exo is the only way to go!
I've checked out many carriers and have owned/used lots for SRT. This is by far my favorite. It allows you to use Kevlar pads and the "Rifle" (metal or ceramic) plates. I currently have 2 Kevlar pads in the front and 2 in the back and I have 10.5x13.5 3/4 inch AR 500 plates. Yeah, it's heavy but I'm usually the most protected at the scene. Really good carrier.
It has a pretty good fit and the hook and loop closures are extremely firm.
