Elevate your Q: Decent Inexpensive 2 zone grilling thermometer
1/2 the price of the similar Thermoworks remote 2 zone thermometer. This works really well and build quality appears high. 2 zones are essential for low and slow BBQ: one for the grill ambient temperature inside the grill and the other to insert into the meat to track its progress. A brisket smoked using this thermometer turned out really well and educated me that my smoking temperatures in the past have been wayyy off. I'm looking forward to more cooks with this device. The remote unit syncs very quickly with the temperature probe and the connection was stable at 30 feet through a concrete wall. The remote display appears to be updated every 2-3 seconds or so. I'm happy with it so far.
