Works well
If you want a really effective dehumidifier you still can't beat one that runs on a compressor, they may not be the lightest or cheapest to run but the amount of water they extract from the air is considerably more than any other type. I'm very pleased with this one, it is reasonably quiet but has a higher fan speed if needed. It stops automatically when full up, all of them are supposed to do this but I've found in the past that this doesn't always work and you can find a puddle with an electrical item sitting in the middle of it! For a while now dehumidifier manufacturers have been aware that their products are an effective way of getting laundry dry during the winter months, I can confirm that this model works well in this role, just remember to turn it so that the air is blowing onto the washing and it will dry it in about a day.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great little machine
We wanted something compact and easy to read and use. On the low setting you barely hear it so quiet at night. The high setting is not to noisy just noticible if sleeping. It has been great to use like the laundry mode. Absorbs well in a large room. Happy that it has a 10 litre tank it has been half full on a day of use. Good product/good price/life expectancy - time will tell.
We have had our old humidifier unit for 20 years, and now it has died. Ordered this unit, and what a surprise - how technology has changed over that time. The collection box is a little small but that can be overcome as an external drain pipe is included, which would be useful should you be away from your house for a period. The unit is situated in the middle of our bungalow and the noise level on low speed fan position is acceptable during the night. good value, good machine
This dehumidifier eally helps with humidity, isn't too loud either, and small enough to carry if wheeling around is too tricky. I used it mainly in a small room, maybe 12-15 sqm, but it seemed to help with the flat overall. Works Great, very happy
It sorted the high humidity out in the house You couldnt sleep with it on in the same room though even though it advertises that, once the compressor starts it is a bit loud for sleeping. Its fantastic though, quickly extracts the water from the air, I empty the container about every two days but I dont have it on 24/7. The humidity was 80% when I first got it, it now gets up to 65% then I turn it on to reduce it to 50% you can choose lower. Dehumidifier don’t hear it til it needs emptying
I was really pleased and utterly shocked at how easy and how much water it has taken out of my home I’ve know people that have extractor fans fitted but they don’t take the smell or damp away, as efficient as this the 1st day it took about 4hrs to fill the tank and with the filter it made the room smell fresher. Never realised there was really a smell til then and the tank keeps filling but is slowing down, the outer walls u can even see the difference in the 1st 24hrs I emptied it nearly 4 times and a week later it’s still at least twice a day.
