Blue wave glider kayak
I have owned several open canoe kayaks old town discovery being the latest. The problem with a big old hard kayak is keeping it somewhere and the hassle of lugging it to the car and strapping it to roof bars. So I got rid of it. But discovering the new drop stitch tech in the blue wave glider intrigued me. So I bought a red one. Only used it once so far but it was well made , tough and paddled really well. It tracks turns and rides the swell and being inflatable I don’t need any additional buoyancy. There are loads of inflatable kayaks and for any serious paddling they are not a patch on this drop stitch built kayak. It’s as good as the Sea Eagle and half the price. The only thing I don’t like are the paddles which are cheap aluminium and plastic. I will switch these for single Canadian paddles rather than traditional canoe paddles.
