Condition:
Algae is produced when there is an imbalance within your aquarium, such as from overfeeding fish, too many fish causing excessive waste, too much lighting or too many fertilising nutrients. Just 10ml per 100l of aquarium water for four weeks is enough to eradicate algae from most systems, though this can be extended if needed.

I set up a nano tank, very successfully, but started having problems with thread algae. I used AlgExit for the second week, a couple of days ago and the algae has completely gone. I will, if course, use it for two more weeks, as instructed. I have live plants and a snail, as well as neon tetra fish. None have been adversely affected. Algexit black beard algae treatment
I have used this product twice now and both times it has killed my cherry shrimps even tho9ugh it says that it doesn't harm them. Before I used this I had over 200 shrimps and now I am lucky to count 6 and the worst thing is that it hasn't killed the black beard algae.
