Smoothest and closest shave ever!
These blades give the closest and smoothest shaves I have ever experienced but are almost unheard of. They fit the old 'Protector 3D' razor handle as well as the latest 'Protector 3'. Cost works out around 70pence each as against around £2 for Quattro,Hydro3,Hydro5 which come close to quality of shave at more than twice the price. Gillette prices start around £2 each for 'Mach3 and turbo' for not a patch on Wilkinson Sword for shave quality. Compares very well against DE shavers, Merkur slant bar with Wilkinson Sword Classic blades or Feather, yes doesn't clog with very close cut and protected against cuts and nicks with vertical blade wires. How do Wilkinson Sword keep these blades so secret, they are also sold in the states as Schick blades. Try them you'll never go back. Possibly inferior quality - skin irritation
Although I saved a couple of £, these razors come in what seems to be Eastern European packaging and they have left my skin feeling slightly irritated. Previous shop-bought blades have lasted weeks at a time but I can only manage 2 shaves max with these ones. Will spend a bit more to buy from high street or direct from Wilkinson next time.

Can't get these in the local shops.
I really don't want to change razors to one of the new breed and love my protector but retailers seem to be blitzed by Gillette products. Not only did I find these on ebay (no surprise there) but they are appreciably cheaper than one famous national store that began in Nottingham and whose name could be a type of footwear.
