Good value replacement keyboard and mouse

As per description keyboard and mouse were as new. However this set doesn't come with USB receiver, and it requires Logitech non-unifying type. If you have receiver already of the same set you can use it, otherwise you will need to order Logitech USB receiver model U0010 separately., Once you get the receiver, keyboard and mouse won't connect to it automatically - you will need to download Logitech Connect utility from their website and run it, which will let you pair USB receiver to work with keyboard and mouse. All in all this is a good set if you have already USB receiver with old / broken keyboard or mouse, otherwise you will be better off getting brand new set.

The keyboard is fine. I don't like the mouse

The keyboard is fine. I don't like the mouse. I often have to click two or more times before anything happens and I don't find selecting text easy. It feels light but I think I might be getting used to that. The battery is easy to get in or out (which wasn't true of my previous Microsoft mouse).

  • Good quality product for price range £30-£40

I reviewed a few keyboard combi in the price range £25-£40 and was expecting to buy a Microsoft but when I came across the Logitech range I quickly changed my mind. The Logitech MK270 look may not be as pleasing (in my view) as the MS 900 but for the price (about £10 cheaper) the feel is really nice, it has some excellent features ready to hand - calculator just for instance and the mouse is compact which suites me! Overall a really good combi, great price for that range and nice to use.

  • affordable and functional keyboard and mouse

The covid-19 resulted in a high workload on my laptop and consequently, strains on my wrist, elbow and shoulders come to the fore as I try to raise the laptop to make the workstation comfortable. When an external keyboard appears to be a solution to the health & safety issue related to work at home, I invested time in searching for an affordable external keyboard. The popular ones (as shown by sold number) include this one I bought Logitech MK270. There are many positive reviews as well as negative ones. The latter made me hesitant to buy this product as I fear the keyboard would not be fit for purpose. However, I am pleased with what I got now as it really ease the strain on my hands and make my home work life easier. The keys are responsive (no delay), which is important to me as I type a lot. They keys do make a little noise (as some negative reviews describe), however, the noise level is normal, and I am used to it. To me, the sound gives me feedback that the keys are working. Surely, individuals have different preferences. The function outweights the negligible noise, in my case. Easy to set up by simply plugging in the USB. Both wireless and mouse work just fine, sufficient for my professional full-time job using a laptop all day long. In a word, I am happy with my order, with a reasonable price, getting a good brand Logitech product that functions well.

  • Good basic keyboard, fantastic mouse

Good basic keyboard - works flawlessly. The USB dongle connects both keyboard and mouse. At first I thought it was missing but it was unobtrusively plugged into a cutout in the cardboard box. The mouse is IMHO, the best I've come across. It is OK for either left or right hand, it has a scroll that feels just right - not too stiff, and the height is just right too. So this is amazing value considering you are getting this great mouse and a useful wireless keyboard as well.

  • Damage to box was minimal. Product perfect. Great saving for excellent item.

Really easy to set up (10 seconds !). No driver download or anything required, just put the batteries in, plug in the dongle to the USB port and it all works. Full size keyboard. THe one dongle operates both mouse and keyboard. Had to relocate the dongle to one of the front USB slots as there was interference when it was at the back of the computer with all the other USB devices I had attached and the mouse was a bit jumpy. However, dongle is so small, it isn't even noticeable. Been using for over a week now and really pleased with it all.

  • So far so good

I was looking at far more expensive models until i thought, you know what, I wouldn't use half of the features. Looked at this base line model which had good reviews and went for it. Good kit, no problems except double clicking on firefox doesn't always work first time. Maybe my settings or position of the usb position not in line of site, which I'll look at. Otherwise for the money works fine, happy.

  • great pair of keyboard/mouse

great product. simply plug in and it works - just one USB port needed for both keyboard and mouse. the function keys all work straight off too (volume controls etc - no need to configure these). Mouse is good size. Possibly a bit noisy and clunky on the keyboard. but no hesitation recommending

  • Good set

Very good keyboard. No Shift light but that's normal on wireless keyboards. Mouse is good size and weight well. Altogether a very good set from a reputable manufacturer.

  • An excellent, basic set which has brought some advantages.

Clearly, from the Logitech range this is a lower end product, but don't be put off. The mouse is smaller, but unless your hands are huge it's not going to be a problem. Staying with the mouse, it is made from a hard plastic rather than the softer, rubberised sides of the more expensive Logitech range (I have two other models). Once again, don't be put off by this as it should last much longer than the mouse of one of my other Logitech sets which now has a hole in the side from wear. Regarding the keyboard, once again I prefer it to the more expensive Logitech keyboards. The keys are raised as they are on an old-fashioned keyboard. In my opinion, this really aids typing. The keys on the more expensive Logitech keyboards are much flatter, and some of mine have started to stick. All in all, a good, robust set for a very good price. I've had no issues with the wireless connection. Everything appears to function well.
